Learn more about how today’s high school students think, react and explore colleges. This session will focus on how high school students get information about colleges and new and innovative ways to reach the students. Special focus will be given to using eMarketing tools.

Working Adult Market – Overcoming The Time Issues With Your Working Adults

Explore how to reach today’s busy working adults and examine the impact that the college’s programming and packaging of curriculum have on enticing this market to enroll.

eMarketing: Understanding eMarketing's Role In Your College's Marketing Plan

Learn the language of eMarketing – search engine marketing, online advertising, viral marketing, webPR, blogs, online reputation marketing and e-mail marketing. See examples of how community colleges are using MySpace, Facebook and YouTube to reach additional markets – and understand how to use those tools at your College.

Examine the educational needs and characteristics of one of the largest untapped markets for community colleges today – the Baby Boomers. Examples of new programming to meet the Boomers’ needs will be discussed.

Retiree Market Living Longer, Learning Longer

Many community colleges have seen a major increase in the market size but are not serving the retirees in large numbers. The educational needs of the retiree market will be discussed, along with ideas on how to reach the market with programming.

Immigrant Market – Serving The Underserved

Learn more about how to reach out to the increasing immigrant market in your area and explore the types of programming and messages you need to reach this market successfully.
